There is a lot of help needed in Myanmar! There are several projects available in places like Yangon, Mandalay, Nay Pyi Taw, Mawlamyine, Kyain Seikgyi, Bago, Pathein, Monywa, Sittwe, Meiktila, Myeik and Kēng Tung. You can be placed in different projects which will enable you to get a unique and fulfilling experience.

Empowering the most disadvantaged households in remote villages, disadvantaged children at society centres, by house infrastructure projects, toilet construction projects, setting up water pipeline system projects and more.
Teaching
Volunteers can be involved in teaching English. Education is very important especially with Myanmar developing there is a a lot of education needed. And with most people still poor many children do not have the opportunity to get an education, especially for orphaned and the poor children. International volunteers have done great work teaching at our different projects and have made a great impact to the children’s lives. No teaching experience is needed. The level of English of the children is mostly basic. The main requirements needed are flexibility, enthusiasm and a willingness to help. You can also teach special skills that you might have such as art or music. You can also assist in taking care of the children, playing with the children and helping out where needed.
