Bali

Indonesia is one of the most beautiful countries in Asia with stunning islands, exotic wildlife and some of the best food in the world. There are many benefits to doing volunteering trip instead of just traveling around Indonesia, you can make a real difference to projects.

Where You Can Help

Types of Programs

Some projects have a focus on community development and can include building classrooms, dormitories, libraries and toilets at rural elementary, kindergarten and secondary schools; or teaching English for disadvantaged children.

You might want to spend time helping at children’s daycare centres. This hands-on work can see you do everything from playing with youngsters and preparing their meals to teaching English, so you’ll be able to make a direct difference to some of the most underprivileged parts of the country.

If helping animals appeals to you, lots of sanctuaries and wildlife conservation organisations recruit international participants to help animals like orangutans who are facing more and more issues from poaching, habitat loss and climate change.
