Niger is a former French colony and a land-locked Muslim republic, chiefly exporting Uranium and only populated thanks to the gigantic Niger River that flows through its capital, Niamey, and brings some relief from the desert.
Niger is one of the poorest countries in the world and some projects include English teaching and social community/care work.
