Requirements

The minimum time needed for these types of programs is usually 4 weeks, and maximum one year. Other specifics include:

• You must be 18 years of age
• You must have some experience or studied subjects in your desired internship field
• You must have intermediate or advanced Portuguese language skill (Portuguese language lessons if your language level does not meet an intermediate level)
• Open to foreign cultures and living abroad
• High level of responsibility
• Dedication to the full term of commitment 

Language

Portuguese or Spanish language skills are useful but not required with a lot of companies.  Optional Portuguese language lessons in Brazil are available if desired.  Local partners will be able to provide the necessary paperwork to provide for the required Temporary Visa Item I to live and work in Brazil.
